1: Arrive Delhi Arrive in Delhi and transfer to hotel.

2: Delhi Full day city tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit Raj
Ghat and Shanti Vana (the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal
Nehru), Jama Masjid, and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon:
visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India
Gate (War Memorial Arch), and the Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu
Temple. Also drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government
Secretariat Buildings & the Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight.
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur ( 250 Km. ) Morning drive to
Jaipur enroute visiting Amber fort. Visit the Sheesh Mahal, or the Hall of
Victory, glittering with mirrors. Ascend the fort on Elephant back.
Afternoon tour of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. This city was given
a coat of pink colour a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and it
has retained this colour ever since. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable
astronomer, this city is now 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace,
the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through
the residential & business areas. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

4: Jaipur - Ranthambhore (162 Km. ) Morning drive to Ranthambhore.

to Agra, enroute visiting Fatepur Sikri. Overnight.

Morning city tour of Agra . Visit the famous Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque . Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

8: Agra - Jhansi by Shatabadi train (0817/1048) Jhansi/Khajuraho (177 kms)
Morning visit the world famous Khajuraho temples, built by the Chandelas, between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The important ones are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple (with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu), Vishvanath & Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, and the Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples.
Visit the Eastern group of Temples. Parasvanath Temple is the only exisiting Jain Temple at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum. The Javeri Temple is dedicated to Vishnu and the other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath.

9: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh ( 90 Km. )
Drive to Bandhavgarh . Evening jungle activities.

Morning and evening Jungle activities.
Day 11Bandavgarh - Kanha: ( 255 km. )
After breakfast drive to Kanha. This is the place that has been described in "The Jungle Book", by Rudyard Kipling. Located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park is a tiger reserve that extends over an area of over 940 square kms.
Patient observation should reward the visitor with a sight of Indian Fox, Sloth bear, Striped hyena, Jungle cut, Leopard, Mouse Deer, Chausingha (four horned antelope), Nilgai, Ratel and Porcupine. Kanha has some 200 species of birds. Watchers should station themselves in the hills, where the mixed and bamboo forests harbour many species in the grassy forest clearings. Water birds can be seen near the park's many rivulets and at Sarvantal, a pool that is frequented by water birds, and the area in front of the museum.

Day 12 Kanha:
Morning and evening game viewing inside the jungle. (Two safaris) Overnight at the resort.
Day 13:Kanha - Nagpur - Delhi ( 180 Km. )
Transfer to the Airport ( Nagpur ) to board flight to Delhi.

Drive to Corbett. Corbett has the highest density of tiger in the country -
approximately one for every 5 sq.km. and it was here that the prestigious "Project
Tiger" was launched in 1973. The hog deer, samber, chital barking deer
and wild boar, are seen here.
Day 4: Corbett National Park Morning and evening game viewing / jungle activities.

5: Corbett National Park - Delhi ( 296 Km. ) Overnight at Delhi
Day 6: Delhi - Agra ( 210 Km. ) Drive to Agra, enroute visiting
Sikandra. Afternoon city tour of Agra. Visit the famous Taj Mahal and Agra
fort.
Day 7: Agra - Bharatpur ( 56 km. ) enroute
visiting Fatehpur Sikri. in Bharatpur , enjoy bird watching in the Keoladeo
Ghana bird sanctuary with a boat ride through the marshes if the water level
permits.
Day 8: Bharatpur - Ranthambhore ( 224 Km. )

Day 11:
Jaipur Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Ascend the fort on elephant
back. Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction
was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai
Singh I. It's forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful
fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Proceed to
Jaigarh Fort. The view of the city of Jaipur from this picturesque fort on
top of a hill is truly an experience of a lifetime. Afternoon City Tour.

Day 12: Jaipur - Delhi ( 230 Km. ) Arrive
New Delhi and Transfer to International Airport.
