is the remarkable itinerary. Included some 620 Kms of cycling, with 4000m of
ascent and a staggering 10800m of decent, which follows what is
unquestionably the greatest of all mountain roads. Setting off on the long
ride to Leh, we cross India's main Himalayan ranges by series of 4 passes;
Rohtang pass (3990m), the Baralacha La (4995 m), the Lachalung La (5065 m)
and the second highest pass the Tanglang La (5280 m), which are snowbound

travelling from the lush greenery Kullu-Manali Valley, through the semi-arid
plains of Lahul, to the Tibetan - influenced high plateau of Ladakh.
